Ree Drummond is an American blogger, TV host and food photographer. Most famous for The Pioneer Woman, her blog. She is on a ranch in Oklahoma. In her blog, she describes her life at her Oklahoma ranch as an individual woman as well as mother. Pioneer Woman received the Weblog of the Year Awards in 2009, 2010, 2011, at the Annual Weblog Awards. Her college studies included gerontology and journalism. In 2006 she started her online blog pioneerwoman.typepad.com and later changed the name to Confessions of a Pioneer Woman and finally to The Pioneer Woman. Confessions is still one of numerous popular areas on her website. The blog was well-respected by major magazines, which praised her style of writing and thoughts and also some outstanding photos. She also puts up delicious and visually stunning recipes for food on her blogs. In 2011 she started her own show on TV called The Pioneer Woman which is still telecast through The Food Network. The book, mostly packed with cooking recipes as well as her own show on TV. Columbia Pictures recently announced their plans to adapt her book Black Heels and Tractor Wheels into a feature-length film.
